Double charged tiles are pressed with a 3 to 4 mm decorative layer bonded to the base body, giving richer pattern depth than a glazed tile while keeping the wear resistance heavy commercial flooring needs.
Double Charged Vitrified Tiles are manufactured by feeding two layers of pigment during the pressing process. This creates a 3–4 mm thick top layer of design and color, making the tile highly durable and suitable for heavy-duty applications.
Two layers of pigmented powder are fed into the press together, bonding a 3-4 mm decorative layer onto the tile body under very high pressure. That layer is many times thicker than the print on a glazed tile.
