600 x 600 mm PGVT — Polished Glazed Vitrified Tiles

The standard bright floor for residential work across South Asia, the Gulf and West Africa. Reflective enough to lift a room with limited daylight, and the size keeps cutting waste low in ordinary room dimensions.

  • 9 mm thick, 25 kg per box
  • Around 1,280 m² in a 20ft container

60 x 60 cm PGVT — Polished Glazed Vitrified — common questions

How many 60 x 60 cm tiles are in a box?

4 pieces, covering 1.44 square metres and weighing about 25 kg gross. A pallet holds 40 boxes.

How many square metres fit in a container?

Approximately 1,280 m² in a 20-foot container and 2,600 m² in a 40-foot, at 9 mm thickness. Thicker tiles hit the payload limit before they fill the volume, so the figure drops sharply above 12 mm.

How many boxes do I need?

Divide your measured area in square metres by 1.44, round up, then add ten per cent for cuts, breakage and future repairs — fifteen per cent for a diagonal or herringbone layout.

What is 60 x 60 cm in inches?

About 24 x 24 in. The metric figure is the exact one, because the tile is manufactured to metric dimensions and imperial equivalents are always approximate.
